How do I scan a receipt?

Open Expense Rabbit, tap the camera button, and point your phone at the receipt. You do not need perfect lighting or a flat surface. After the photo is captured, the app reads the details and shows them for you to review.

What does Expense Rabbit read from a receipt?

It extracts the merchant name, date, total, tax, and individual line items where they are legible. It also suggests a category for the expense so you can file it in a tap.

What is the confidence score?

Each scanned expense comes with a confidence score that reflects how certain the app is about the extracted data and the suggested category. High scores are usually safe to approve at a glance. Lower scores are a signal to check the details before you save. You can edit any field before approving.

How does the free plan work?

The free plan includes 3 receipt scans so you can try scanning on real receipts before you decide. You still get the extracted data, automatic categories, and the spend dashboard for those scans.

What do I get with Pro?

Pro removes the scan limit and unlocks unlimited scans, budgets and optimization tips, the financial-health score, monthly dashboard filters, and accounting sync. You can see the current price and upgrade right inside the app.

Does it sync with QuickBooks?

Yes. Once you connect your QuickBooks account, approved expenses can sync across, with more accounting tools on the way. You can also export a CSV at any time to import into other software or hand to your accountant.

How do I export my data?

Open the dashboard, choose the month or range you want, and export to CSV. The file includes the merchant, date, total, tax, and category for each approved expense.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Expense Rabbit Pro is billed through your Apple App Store account. To cancel, open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, select Expense Rabbit, and choose Cancel Subscription. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period.

How do I delete my account or my data?

You can request account and data deletion at any time from inside the app or by emailing support@expenserabbit.app. Once your account is deleted, your receipt images and extracted expense data are removed. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is my receipt data private?

Your receipts and expense data are used to provide the service to you and are not sold. Receipt images are processed to extract the expense details you see in the app. Read the full Privacy Policy to see what we collect and how it is handled.
